The name of the series accurately describes what restaurants faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This documentary series follows the stories of some of the world’s best chefs, accompanying them to see how they deal with an unprecedented mandatory shutdown in an industry that never stops.

We focus on the Catalan region and explore the environment of Joan, Pitu, and Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca; Martina Puigvert and Fina Puigdevall of Les Cols; Eduard Xatruch, Oriol Castro, and Mateu Casañas of Disfrutar; Paco Pérez of Miramar; Carles Gaig; Nandu Jubany; Ferran Adrià, among others, during this time of uncertainty that forced great creativity in adapting to what was called “a new reality.”
