What’s Next? was conceived as a documentary series with the intention of telling the stories of people who have made profound changes in their lives and in the way they understand the world. From the drama of losing a loved one as a catalyst for change, to people who have found—by leaving the city and settling in rural environments—a lifestyle more aligned with their essential needs.

The series will take us to different corners of Europe to discover extraordinary stories: from people who have moved to remote villages leaving the city behind; African immigrant communities on the outskirts of Paris who have organized themselves to care for children orphaned by COVID; people embracing a nomadic lifestyle living on boats or in motorhomes; or smaller life changes such as risking everything to change careers and cities.
